Yarn contest
Every once in a while I enter my name in a yarn contest at someones blog. Not that I ever did win something :-). But I like the idea and that is why I decided to do a small contest on this blog. Rules are simple, you have only to enter your name and tell me your favourite colourway on my Rainbow blog. That will help me to determine what colourway(s) I should dye more often.
What you could win is Riverside, a skein of 75% Blue Faced Leicester/ 25% nylon sock yarn. Superwash treated, hard wearing and non felting. The yarn has a greatly soft feel and is hand painted. The skein is approximately 100 grams (3.5 oz) and 350 meter (383 yard). Fingering weight, recommended needle size is 2.5 mm. With the skein a set of 4 stitch markers, hand crafted by Dory and me.
I will close the contest by next Monday, 15-10-2007 at 9 pm (UK time). The name of the winner will be randomly selected by my 3 year old daughter, who cannot read.
You are all welcome to join this contest. To win the yarn will have nothing to do with the most chosen colourway or being my friend or family. I will post the yarn worldwide for free. PLMK if there are any questions.
Q: On what blog do I have to comment?

Wat een leuk idee en wát een geweldige prijs gooi je er tegenaan. Wauw!
Ik heb al zo vaak op jouw site zitten lekkerbekken bij al die prachtige kleuren. Toevallig weet ik sinds kort precies welke kleurencombo's mijn favorieten zijn ;o).
Bij de black rainbow gaat mijn hart telkens harder kloppen. Maar ook flowers of the mediterranean, celtica, pacific, indian summer, fruit of the loom, harvest en camelot vind ik geweldig en hun namen ook, zo toepasselijk.
Kortom: mijn favoriete kleur noemen, onmogelijk. Je hebt zoveel geweldigprachtige strengen. Daar valt erg moeilijk uit te kiezen voor mij.

Judith, met een erg mooie handgeverfde streng in de wolmand (aqua/paars/zwart, regelmatig geverfd) waar ik toch maar geen mooie naam voor kan bedenken. En dan zie ik al die ultiem passende namen bij jouw verfsels en ben ik strontjaloers op jouw inspiratie ;o)
Ja Celtica, heerlijke frisse kleuren groen.

On your Rainbow post, I'd have to say my faves are Willow, and Chocolate-Mocha with Berries. Oh, and Mystica is Fabulous too!
I LOVE LOVE your yarns! In fact, I'm winding up Wicked Night this afternoon for some fall/halloween longies for my babe. Hopefully, I'll get them knit in time for the holiday!
But for sheer name and colour yummyness I'll have to settle on Chocolate-mocha with berries...

To have to choose from such lovely colors is very hard....but this one is my favorit!

Harvest, Memories, Harvest Fruit Crumble en Mystery Night vind ik geweldig. Maar Indian Summer is ook zo mooi....
Als ik er maar eentje mag noemen ga ik voor Mystery Night.
Mag ik er ook 2 kiezen?

Als ik er 1 moet kiezen ga ik voor Fairy Tales, simple omdat t net anders is dan wat ik normaal zou kiezen en ik me er al een trui van zie maken én dragen, met een paar heerlijke sokken erbij.
