Ruffles!

Super girly. The ruffles take an amazing lot of wool, about 60 grams BFL Aran weight/ worsted to do both legs with an inseam of 2.5".

I love these colours!

Daar heb ik me al zo vaak op verkeken, de hoeveelheid wol die daar in gaat zitten. Mooie kleuren en een super meisjes 'broek'.

Moet lukken, ik heb net de roze soaker af en de pijpjes wou ik ook zo afwerken, maar ik heb het al rap opgegeven wegens 1) niet weten hoe, haha - 2) waarschijnlijk niet genoeg wol - 3) breinaald te klein, de steken vielen er letterlijk vanaf...

Hoe deze ruffles gebreid zijn? Bij de benen brei ik eerst twee toeren 'gewoon'. In de derde toer meerder ik iedere tweede steek. Dan weer een toer alle steken breien zoals ze voorkomen. Volgende toer weer iedere tweede steek meerderen. Weer een toer gewoon en nog een toer iedere tweede steek meerderen. Dan breien tot de gewenste lengte. Ik heb aan het eind een toer averecht gebreid, eentje recht en weer een averecht. Daarna afgekant. Dat voorkomt dat de pijpjes gaan oprollen. Het paste allemaal maar net op de rondbreinaald van 40 cm :-).

ik kan het hier al zetten... het kadootje voor mijn schoonmoeder bevat ruffles (de Latifa-sjaal van knitty ;-) en auw auw auw! na 1 ruffle doet mijn pols pijn en moet ik stoppen!!! pffff...

Every once in a while I enter my name in a yarn contest at someones blog. Not that I ever did win something :-). But I like the idea and that is why I decided to do a small contest on this blog. Yarn to give

Today is a special day for me. I am not going to point out why, it is not significant. Though on account of that special day I want to give something away It's two skeins of Blue Faced Leicester in the 'Blue Jeans' colourway and a skein of Tencel/ Merino sock yarn in violet.
