One weeks dyeing


Actually I dyed more yarn than showed in this picture ;). With the Mint-Mocha-Chocolate and Cream BFL I knitted a pair of customer shorts. I am very pleased how the colours turned out, it was kind of an unusual combination for me.

O wat is dat mooi geworden. Altijd weer een verrassing hoe het van de bol naar de broek wordt.
Ik ben wel heel benieuwd naar de volgende verfsels :).
Heerlijke kleuren alles bij elkaar, echt een beetje lente-gevoel.

vooral de Kids Playtime vind ik super (groen met paars)

maar manlief heeft zijn veto gesteld, zucht! Volgens hem heb ik té veel wol en té veel begonnen breiwerkjes...
misschien heeft hij wel gelijk, maar dan nog... moeial LOL ;-)

Tja, die mannen! ;-) De mijne moedigt wolaankopen juist aan, zeker als het om soorten gaat de ik niet echt ken. Dus heb ik inmiddels een hele stash van wol 'waar ik nog iets van moet maken.'

Every once in a while I enter my name in a yarn contest at someones blog. Not that I ever did win something :-). But I like the idea and that is why I decided to do a small contest on this blog. Rules are simple, you have only to enter your name and tell me your favourite colourway on my Rainbow blog. That will help me to determine what colourway(s) I should dye more often. What you could win is Riverside , a skein of 75% Blue Faced Leicester/ 25% nylon sock yarn. Superwash treated, hard wearing and non felting. The yarn has a greatly soft feel and is hand painted. Yarn to give

Today is a special day for me. I am not going to point out why, it is not significant. Though on account of that special day I want to give something away It's two skeins of Blue Faced Leicester in the 'Blue Jeans' colourway and a skein of Tencel/ Merino sock yarn in violet.
