Yarn to give

Today is a special day for me. I am not going to point out why, it is not significant. Though on account of that special day I want to give something away

It's two skeins of Blue Faced Leicester in the 'Blue Jeans' colourway and a skein of Tencel/ Merino sock yarn in violet.
If anyone out there would like to have this yarn (and a bit more), please leave a comment on this post, saying something nice. No matter on what person or subject, just be kind.

Let's make this a short 'contest'. It will close by Sunday night (23-11-2008), my daughter will pick the winner on Monday.

Dear Lizet,
it must be important, if you share your feelings of today with all of us by giving away such beautiful colors!
Hmm, say something nice... I wanted to tell you for a long time already that your Secret Garden turned into my favorite pair of socks... The colors are so beautiful and make me happy just by looking at them, never mind the warm feet they give me;-)

Oh, my, what a great colorway - really does remind me of a favorite pair of faded, well-broken in blue jeans.

Saying something nice isn't that difficult, because you are kind of the mother of the wolabies! Thanks for taking care of our very very very special group of all sweet members!
Special things happen in this group, so you can be proud!!!

so many nice things to say:

- in love with your yarns, and so is Sarah: she chose your RAK yarn out of my whole stash to knit her a fairy hat
- you have been such a sweet friend, far away and still so close
- only a special woman celebrates her own special day by spoiling others...

This is a wonderful day for me because thanks to all the kind people out in blogger land I have made 39 pairs of socks this year to give to our local hospice for the patients this Christmas. I think that is more than nice:))

Hoi Lizet,

Liefs Marjon
