We all stand together

It's more 'hang together' here. On the sofa. Dory not feeling well, me neither. Having some kind of a cold. Or a flu. So we did some browsing on youtube for nice video's and stumbled upon this one.


She loves it! We have seen and heard all versions of 'the frog song' several times now... rabbit, rabbit!

Die is bij ons zo'n 16 jaar geleden helemaal grijs gedraaid.
We hadden m toen opgenomen op video. En ik kan er nog steeds van genieten, zodra ik de beginnoten hoor zie ik het filmpje weer voor me. Zo hebben ze ook, en nog steeds, Muppets Christmas Carrol helemaal grijs gedraaid.

Ooooooooooh! I am browsing way back on your blog, but I just had to comment. I just dug up my record of this song from when I was a kid. My son has been playing it all the time. Now I will have to show him this video.

Het sneeuwt... alweer. Echt zo'n dag om binnen te blijven. Dan... verrassing! Postbode aan de deur met een pakketje voor mij! Natuurlijk meteen aan de slag gegaan om te neuzen wat er in zat, kan ook moeilijk anders met D. die dan weer erg nieuwsgierig is. Yarn contest

Every once in a while I enter my name in a yarn contest at someones blog. Not that I ever did win something :-). But I like the idea and that is why I decided to do a small contest on this blog. Rules are simple, you have only to enter your name and tell me your favourite colourway on my Rainbow blog. That will help me to determine what colourway(s) I should dye more often. What you could win is Riverside , a skein of 75% Blue Faced Leicester/ 25% nylon sock yarn. Superwash treated, hard wearing and non felting. The yarn has a greatly soft feel and is hand painted. The skein is approximately 100 grams (3.5 oz) and 350 meter (383 yard). Fingering weight, recommended needle size is 2.5 mm. With the skein a set of 4 stitch markers, hand crafted by Dory and me. I will close the contest by next Monday, 15-10-2007 at 9 pm (UK time). The name of the winner will be randomly selected by my 3 year old daughter, who cannot read.
