100! Magic Ball: the conclusion

Huge rave for Annemarie! She did a wonderful job putting this ball together, I love(d) every part of it. I am still in awe with the colours of this Jitterbug and it is really a pleasure to knit.

My two socks, knitted in that amazing Babyrib. One pouch. And the gifts I found in the secon part of the ball. More chocolate :), mocca beans and a card with beautiful buttons of Storm in the Attic

wat onwijs leuk om alles zo terug te zien, en wat zijn de sokken prachtig geworden! en wat een supergoed idee van dat buideltje. ik heb mijn eigen MB wanten bijna af, en weet nu al dat een groot deel van de pakjes nog steeds in de wol zit als ik klaar ben, dus dit soort ideeen zijn meer dan welkom...

Jeetje je hebt als een speer gebreikd. de ganse MB al verwerkt. wel leuke sokken geworden en dan heb je nog wat leuke ideeen gevonden om de rest van de bol te verwerken. Mijn laatste cadeautjes zitten ook helemaal in het begin van de bol ik moet dus nog heel veel breien. Maar dat is ook de bedoeling van zo een bolruil

Het sneeuwt... alweer. Echt zo'n dag om binnen te blijven. Dan... verrassing! Postbode aan de deur met een pakketje voor mij! Natuurlijk meteen aan de slag gegaan om te neuzen wat er in zat, kan ook moeilijk anders met D. die dan weer erg nieuwsgierig is. Yarn contest

Every once in a while I enter my name in a yarn contest at someones blog. Not that I ever did win something :-). But I like the idea and that is why I decided to do a small contest on this blog. Rules are simple, you have only to enter your name and tell me your favourite colourway on my Rainbow blog. That will help me to determine what colourway(s) I should dye more often. What you could win is Riverside , a skein of 75% Blue Faced Leicester/ 25% nylon sock yarn. Superwash treated, hard wearing and non felting. The yarn has a greatly soft feel and is hand painted. The skein is approximately 100 grams (3.5 oz) and 350 meter (383 yard). Fingering weight, recommended needle size is 2.5 mm. With the skein a set of 4 stitch markers, hand crafted by Dory and me. I will close the contest by next Monday, 15-10-2007 at 9 pm (UK time). The name of the winner will be randomly selected by my 3 year old daughter, who cannot read.
